The MMGC (MIRAI MAD GOLD CONTEST), known as "黄金祭", has been with everyone since 2013, spanning over a decade. During this period, countless outstanding creators and works have emerged. This year marks the 12th edition, and the 2025 MMGC will continue with the theme of "Still Image MAD."

Event Rules

    A combination of selection and invitation system

    1. Selection System

      All submitted works will be reviewed by the official MMGC Organizing Committee, and whether they are selected will depend on the quality of the submission.

      Registration Method: Authors can join the event's QQ group and submit their works to the organizer or main coordinator for registration. Alternatively, they can register on the Bilibili event page when it becomes available later.

    2. Invitation System

      Authors who were selected in the previous edition, as well as certain authors contacted by the organizers, will be invited by the event team to participate.

      Authors confirmed to participate through either of these methods will receive an invitation letter or a letter of appreciation from MMGC.

Submission Types

    .This event only accepts Still Image MAD.

‌    Still Image MAD：It is a type of multimedia work that uses static images as the primary material, with sources such as manga, game CGs, artbooks, and light novel illustrations. The author uses video editing software to transform these materials into dynamic video works, recreating the storyline and expressing personal creativity.

Submission Requirements:

    1. All submitted works must, under normal circumstances, include "MMGC 2025" in an appropriate location (using the official logo, a self-made version, or simply indicating "MMGC 2025").

    2. Work size requirements: Unless otherwise needed, the resolution must be no less than 720p (if a special resolution is required, please inform the organizers).

    3. Frame rate requirement: Must not exceed 60 FPS.

    4. Duration requirement: The length of the work must be no less than 60 seconds and no more than 8 minutes.

    5. Format: MP4 format.

    6. Size requirement: Must not exceed 1000 MB.

    7. Encoding: Please submit the encoded version with a bitrate of up to 6000 kbps.

Prohibited Description

    1. Submissions that are complete replicas will not be accepted (parodies are allowed).

    2. Submissions of previously published works (including original files that have been publicly released) will not be accepted.

    3. The use of stolen materials, three-cut edits, and other unethical practices is strictly prohibited.

    4. The forced inclusion of real-world advertisements in the work is strictly prohibited.

    5. Content directly involving pornography, gambling, drugs, as well as excessively gory or explicit imagery, is strictly prohibited.

    6. The use of materials that violate the laws of the People's Republic of China is strictly prohibited.

    7. Submissions that are clearly unfinished will not be accepted.

    8. Submitted works must not be submitted to multiple contests simultaneously (no duplicate submissions).

Submission Method

Participants should package their entry (MP4 video), txt document (specifying work title, author ID, QQ number, category, and Bilibili UID, and indicating whether they want judges to provide feedback), and optional poster into a compressed file (rar/zip). Submit before 24:00 on May 6, 2025 by joining the event group (QQ Group: 631209856) and sending to group admins or email (443213063@qq.com).     Work Feedback

    This year's MMGC will invite judges from both domestic and international backgrounds to provide feedback on the selected works. Each selected author will receive at least one piece of feedback. (The organizers may also participate in writing feedback, depending on the situation.)

Event Description

    MIRAI MAD TEAM,Founded on March 17, 2012, the group now has over 100 members, focusing mainly on anime MAD and PV production. Current leader: Passing Keologist.

New Content - Group Voting

During the competition's public announcement period:

• Participants will be randomly divided into "Day" and "Night" groups.
• The voting for the works will commence on the day of the public announcement, with ten days of public announcements implying ten rounds of voting.
• Each round of voting will last for three days starting from the day of the public announcement. For example, the voting for day2 will start when day2 opens and end when the voting for day5 opens.
• Each round of voting is a single-choice vote, allowing only a vote for either Day or Night.
• Voting will be conducted concurrently on Bilibili and Twitter, with the total votes counted together.
• The group with the highest total votes wins:

Regarding commemorative prizes for both groups:

Regardless of the voting results, the contents of the commemorative items will remain consistent, but the exterior packaging colors will differ.
