We’re meeting everyone again this year! 2025 Chinese MAD Festival!!!

This contest will be held in collaboration with Moonshot MAD contest. Organized by MAD九课 and 登月计划Mad-Project.

Production Period: November 9, 2025 to March 21, 2026 (submission equals registration)

Preliminary Review: March 24, 2026 to April 1, 2026 (subject to adjustment based on the number of submissions)

Results Announcement: April 12, 2026 to April 17, 2026 (depending on the number of submissions)

Contest Rules:

The Chinese MAD Festival is held in collaboration with Moonshot. Participants may submit non-Chinese works to the tracks of the Moonshot contest.

This Chinese MAD Festival contest opens one track (Style Plus Traditional Track):

Choose any Chinese song (no style restrictions, Cantonese, Tibetan, or any other Chinese ethnic language are allowed) and create MADs based on anime series. Or use the Chinese songs provided by the organizers. Video style is unrestricted: ASMV, AMV, still, PV, IG, MG, and all other MAD forms are accepted.

• Each participant may submit multiple entries, but can only receiveone reward.

• This contest accepts two-person collaborations as well as multi-person MEP collaborations.

•  This contest accepts submissions from staff members, including judges and organizers, and they are eligible to win awards.

The 2025 Chinese MAD Festival preliminary review does not have a scoring system; making it to the shortlist is already considered a win, with no rankings or order. We hope everyone creates something they enjoy and something that can be watched repeatedly.

All participants of the 2025 Chinese MAD Festival are requested to add the contest logo in any form to any segment of their submission. The logo will be distributed in the contest group and can be modified freely in form.

Submission Requirements:

• Submission durationno less than 30 seconds and less than 10 minutes. Looping is prohibited.

• Video submissions must have a resolution of1080P or higher, inMP4 format, with no frame rate restrictions.

• Please keep the file size of the submission within500MB.

• When submitting, please include your video, cover (in PNG or JPG format), and any notes or messages (in a TXT file) together in a RAR archive.

The archive should be named: 【2025华语祭】- 【ID】-【Your Work Title】.

If it is a two-person collaboration, name the archive: 【2025华语祭】- 【ID1&ID2】- 【Your Work Title】, with detailed collaboration segments attached in a text file inside the archive.

If it is a multi-person MEP collaboration, name the archive: (MEP)【2025华语祭】- 【Team Name/Main Organizer ID】- 【Your Work Title】, with a detailed list of collaborators attached in a text file inside the archive.

Please **upload** your work via Baidu Netdisk and **fill it in the survey** so that the organizers can receive your submission information in a timely manner.

Contest Rewards：

This 2025 Chinese MAD Festival contest offers Participation Awards and Finalist Awards, with no ranking or order of precedence. Participation Awards are granted upon submission, and Finalist Awards are granted upon making the shortlist. Finalist Awards include the gifts from the Participation Awards. Specific prize designs will be announced later. Although the contest rewards do not involve cash, the organizers hope to provide memorable items that people will keep revisiting, so everyone remembers Chinese MAD and the Chinese MAD Festival.
