Competition Structure:
MMGC is a MAD event organized by the Mirai MAD Team on Bilibili since 2013. In the past, the competition primarily used an invitation system, but in recent years, an open qualification system has been added. The event now boasts a ten-year history.
As the first edition of the new decade, this year's MMGC will open its recruitment as scheduled. Many well-known domestic creators have participated in past events (such as 妹系厨, 初二disease, 得xyz者得天下, 漂泊の途, 97keys, 零之幽, FanfRS, etc.), and we have also successfully invited many renowned international MAD creators to join the competition (including kazami, BM, 军魔, Pluvia, 朝奈, Ruby, etc.).
This year's MMGC will also feature international participants invited by the organizers to compete alongside domestic creators.
Competition Rules:
This year's MMGC will fully adopt an open qualification system. All submissions will be screened, and only those of sufficient quality will be shortlisted. Creators who wish to participate can join the event group (631209856) and submit their works to the organizers or the event coordinators for registration.
(Aside from last year's finalists and invited participants who have communicated with the organizers, the registration channels will be opened on both the official MMGC website and the Bilibili MMGC event page. After completing the registration and information review process, the group will send out official invitations to the participants.)
2. This year's competition theme is "Still-image MAD," the same as last year. MMGC will only accept still-image MAD entries for this edition.
3. Once the competition is live, the outcome of each day's matches will be determined by audience voting.
4. After the competition submissions are made public, participants wishing to submit their works individually should do so 24 hours after the event is publicly launched. (In special cases, participants may discuss with the organizers.)
5. All judges and organizing committee members are allowed to participate in the event.
6. This MMGC will be simultaneously released on Bilibili, Niconico, YouTube, Twitter, and the official MMGC website.
Competition Time:
The submission deadline is 24:00 (midnight) on April 19, 2024.
The shortlist will be announced on April 21.
The competition will be made public on April 22 (the number of broadcast days will be adjusted based on the total number of submitted works).
The announcement time for the voting results will be adjusted based on the total number of submitted works.
All of the above times are based on Beijing Time (GMT+8).
Awards:
All participants who successfully qualify, as well as all organizers and judges, will receive a mysterious prize.
