I. Core Positioning of the Feihualing Event

No participation threshold — open to all MAD enthusiasts. Centered on the concepts of “random material distribution” and the unique *Feihualing* mechanism, the event balances creative freedom, fun, and social interaction, encouraging participants to produce imaginative works.
1. Basic Competition Mechanism
Material Distribution Rules: When participants register, the organizers will distribute poems in chronological order. Each participant will receive a single character or a word as a side mission. If the corresponding character or word appears in the scenes of their work, it will be considered as meeting the requirement.
Participation Format: Participants enter the competition as individuals by default. Social interaction is optional and not required.
2. “Feihualing” Special Mechanism (Optional Participation)
(1) Differences in Participation Rights
Participants in Feihualing can receive a participation award, and works that align well with the theme have the chance to earn additional points from the judges. They can also form teams, increasing opportunities for social interaction.
Non-participants of Feihualing do not need to form teams and can create independently. They submit works as “free participants,” which will be judged according to regular standards. Since participation is not tied to scoring, their evaluation will not be affected — the main goal is to have fun.
Participation Flexibility: Feihualing is an optional mechanism. Participants who choose to compete individually can still contend for various awards based on the strength of their personal works.
(2) Specific Rules of Feihualing
Character/Word Distribution: Participants in Feihualing will be randomly assigned a character or phrase related to a poem by the organizers (e.g., "床前," "明月," "离离," "原上," etc.).
Basic Participation Award: If a work includes elements corresponding to the assigned character/word (e.g., “床” corresponds to a bed scene, “乐” corresponds to a musical instrument scene) and the element appears on screen for at least 1 second, the participant is eligible to receive the Feihualing prize.
Team Formation Rules:
- Team Formation Logic: The organizers split the assigned poem into characters/words (e.g., “离离原上草” is split into “离离,” “原上,” “草”). Participants assigned elements from the same poem automatically become potential teammates.
- Team Formation Process: The organizers proactively provide participants with potential teammates' contact information and ask about their willingness to team up. Participants can choose to form a team or decline without any negative consequences.
- Team Impact: After forming a team, participants can discuss materials and music together, enhancing the work's thematic alignment and increasing audience appeal. Declining to team up is considered individual submission and does not affect the evaluation of personal works (although missing poem elements may reduce potential team-related advantages, which are not tied to scoring).
3. Team Competition and Audience Interaction (Optional Segment)
Team Competition Formation: If 60 entries are received during the event period (assuming 3 participants per team), 20 teams will be formed (centered on “teaming participants with elements from the same poem”). Participants who are not part of a team will be coordinated by the organizers to fill teams or participate individually.
Evaluation Rules: An audience voting channel will be open, allowing viewers to select the “Favorite Poem-Themed Team.” The winning team will receive a team-exclusive award.
The goal is to give the audience a sense of participation, help participants make friends they like, and encourage teams to collaborate to create highly cohesive works.
