The theme of this competition is"love".Everyone has a different answer to "love," but every answer is love. Because of love, we live; because of love, we die.

If EXC#2 was about encouraging everyone to find time in their busy lives to do what they want, then this time, EXC#3 is about encouraging everyone to share"Everything about love".Whether it's familial love, friendship, romance, hobbies, nostalgia, memories of people, things, events, or actions—every warm or twisted emotion is part of love. Creation only needs this small reason. (This isn't meant to limit what anyone should do, because creation itself is powered by love. So this time, just do what you love.)

The positioning of this competition remains a platform for a small circle of enthusiasts to showcase their creations, and a good video is often filled with the creator's"own emotions".whether it's the design of every shot or the arrangement of each plot, it should convey the creator's love for the original work or their own vibrant and unique creative passion.

    Therefore, for this competition, we hope to receive works that can tell a good story or create an immersive atmosphere, allowing the audience to become fully engaged. Alternatively, we welcome creative works with unique ideas and cohesive shot designs.

Submissions are open from today until April 1, 2025. The competition results will be announced within two weeks after the submission deadline.

This competition will not use a scoring or ranking system. The format of the competition will be"an entry selection system".If more than half of the judges approve, the entry will successfully make it into the competition. The number of selected entries will depend on the judges' evaluations, with no additional limit on the number of entries.

In addition to the selected entries, there will be a separate category established for“the Judges' Pick Aard”.Each judge will select their favorite piece from all the submissions as their "Pick" work.

During the selection processanonymity will be applied to submissions, except for those in the visual design track..The judges invited for this competition are all esteemed creators recognized by the organizers, known for their pure approach to creation. The competition will not involve any popularity or personal connections; the final results will be entirely determined by anonymous voting from both the judges and the organizers. Details about the judges will be published in a dedicated section later.

For the visual design track, submissions can be made starting today by directly participating in the topic "EXC3 Go Love, Go Cry, Go Doubt." You can participate immediately, and anonymity is not required.

About the Prizes:

The prize for authors of selected entries in the competition will be“EXC#3 merchandise”(The production cost for each item starts at 200 RMB).

The Judges' Pick entries will receive an additional“Pick Edition exclusive merchandise”.

Some of the additional“Pick Edition exclusive merchandise”will be individually crafted based on the content of each Pick Award entry..

The prizes for the graphic track are different from those for the video track, and the prize details will be announced during the competition.

Notice:

1. The Editing Track accepts submissions for AMVs, ASMV, and film editing.

2. The duration requirement for submissions in all tracks is a minimum of 30 seconds.

3. There are no restrictions on resolution or frame rate for all submissions.

4. Collaborative submissions are accepted, with the number of prizes determined by the number of participants. However, the duration requirement for the work is a minimum of 30 seconds multiplied by the number of participants.

5. For Instagram-style submissions, please choose the track based on the content of your work or leave it to the organizers to determine the appropriate track.

6. Due to the anonymous review mechanism, please do not include any organizational or personal logos in your submissions.

7. All submitted works are prohibited from being shared individually before the competition results are made public; otherwise, they will be considered invalid entries.
