To carry on this passion,we are officially announcing the commencement of the 2024 edition of the ~Rosa Festa ~

This year's Rosa Festa will once again be fully hosted by HOVER MAD TEAM. We will maintain our usual style while continuing to uphold the group's vision to bring vitality to the MAD/AMV community. The general direction of this year's Rosa Festa will be consistent with last year. This means adopting a comprehensive event approach while providing participants with as much creative freedom and time as possible. The event duration is from April 1, 2024, to July 1, 2024.. In addition to this, features such as rolling submissions, real-time feedback, finalist awards, and dual-track competition will also be continued in this year's Rosa Festa rules. The organizers aim to foster high-quality works, encourage and guide newcomers, and invigorate the MAD/AMV community. We hope that creators and enthusiasts will continue to support us and actively participate without feeling pressured in their creative process!

 Event Rules:

In order to create a more reasonable scoring environment, the Rosa Festa will be divided into two main tracks: the "White Rose" and the "Red Rose."And gold, silver, and bronze awards will be presented for each track. The "White Rose" track includes but is not limited to still frames and style-based works, while the "Red Rose" track includes but is not limited to animation, AMV, ASMV, and other types. If participants believe their work cannot be categorized into either track, they may choose the closest one for participation, which will not affect scoring except in special circumstances. For example, "mixed" works can choose their track based on the proportion of still frames and animation in the submission. If participants find it difficult to choose, they can contact the organizers for assistance at any time.If there are insufficient finalist submissions in one of the tracks, a backup prize scheme will be implemented, and the total prize pool will be slightly adjusted.

In addition, Rosa Festa will usea finalist plus ranking-based selection system. The finalists will be selected by the internal preliminary judges of HOVER MAD TEAM,who will shortlist approximately 40 high-quality works. The number of finalists is an estimated figure and may be increased or decreased depending on the circumstances. After the finalist selection is complete, the submissions will be handed over to the final judges, invited by the organizers, for the selection of the final awards. The two main tracks will share the finalist slots,The two main tracks will share the finalist slots.however, proportional adjustments may be made as necessary.
