Contest Rules

Contestants will select a song from the judges' song pack within the specified time limit to create an AMV of the required length.

This competition is held in a non-anonymous team format (teams of two). However, please note that participants are not required to collaborate on a single entry; that is, MEPs (multi-person collaborations) and collabs (two-person collaborations) are not accepted. Instead, each team member must submit their own individual entry, and members of the same team may not select the same category. However, solo entries are permitted. In this case, to be eligible for the team rankings, a participant must submit two entries—each featuring a different song and a different category. If only one entry is submitted, the participant will be disqualified from the team rankings but may still compete in the individual rankings.

Entries must use only the songs provided in the judges’ music pack as background music, and must not be produced across different categories. This is an AMV IC competition; other types of entries, such as GMVs, will not be accepted.
