General Summary

Battle Arena is a competition where participants form teams of two to create an AMV while following specific rules

The competition will begin on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at 8:00 PM (GMT+1, Paris time) and end on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at 11:59 PM (GMT+1, Paris time).

The required songs are revealed at the start, and each team must produce a video of at least 2 minutes. Once completed, the video must be submitted to the designated platform, without any exclusivity requirement.

Registration and Participation

Anyone can participate, as long as they form a team of two. The video must comply with the technical guidelines to be accepted. After submission, the video can be freely shared.

Technical Rules and Restrictions

Participants must use one of the designated songs to create their AMV.

Only animated scenes are allowed: full 3D videos or original animations are not accepted. Any content prohibited by YouTube, such as Hentai, sexual assault scenes, or disturbing imagery, is strictly forbidden and will result in severe penalties. Pre-edited AMVs or the use of pre-made graphic elements are prohibited. Additionally, using scenes stolen from other AMVs is also prohibited. However, animated movie clips like those from "Arcane" are allowed.

To meet the technical requirements, your AMV must use H264 or H265 video encoding, and MP3, AAC, FLAC, or WAV audio encoding. Acceptable container formats include MP4, MKV, AVI, or MOV. The file size must not exceed 500MB, and the minimum duration of the video is 2 minutes. Lastly, please avoid TV station logos, interlacing, subtitles, or other elements that may affect the quality and ranking of the AMV.

Tournament Progression

Once all videos are validated, a*random draw*determines the*first round*, and thetournament structure is revealed.

Each confrontation is a*duel between two teams of two participants*,following a*single-elimination system*. The tournament is organized in multiple*rounds*, each containing several*brackets*, ensuring a fair and structured competition.

Initial Match Schedule Once confirmed, the matches proceed in order. For example, in the case of 64 teams, the first round consists of 32 matches, reducing to 32 teams. The second round consists of 16 matches, leaving 16 teams. The third round has 8 matches, reducing to 8 teams. In the quarter-finals, these 8 teams compete in 4 matches, leaving 4 teams. The semi-finals consist of 2 matches, ultimately leaving only 2 teams to advance to the final, where the ultimate showdown determines the champion.

The first round is determined by random draw to ensure fairness, while the subsequent rounds follow a fixed tournament format to maintain competitive balance and a clear progression path.

The Last Chance

Eliminated teams have two ways to re-enter the competition.

The first method is through public voting: During the first two rounds of the competition, the community can revive one eliminated team from all available teams. The voting is open for 24 hours after the relevant match concludes.

The second method is to purchase a Revival Card using ST Dollars in the store section (if available). However, the number of these cards is limited. After purchase, all ST Dollars of the team will be reset to zero, including those of the buyer and their teammates.

How to earn ST Dollars?

We mentioned ST Dollars in the previous rules, but what exactly is it?

ST Dollars is the virtual currency of this competition, which can be used to place bets on matches and purchase items in the store (if available). After registering for the competition (not the website), each participant will receive a certain amount of ST Dollars. The primary way to earn more is by placing bets on the matches.

Before each schedule begins, participants can use their ST Dollars to bet on the AMVs they believe will win. Multiple AMVs can be bet on within the same schedule, but please manage your budget wisely! The odds for each AMV are determined by an independent jury (not involved in the competition judging) based on statistical data, content quality, and the past performance of the team members.

The formula for calculating the prize is simple: ST Dollars bet × AMV odds = ST Dollars won. For example, if you bet 10 ST Dollars on an AMV with odds of 1.5 and it wins, you will receive 15 ST Dollars. However, if the AMV you bet on loses, you will lose your ST Dollars.

The ST Dollars earned can be used to purchase items in the store, such as a Resurrection Card or other rewards. Use them wisely to maximize your chances of success in the competition!

They will use an accurate and detailed scoring system to evaluate AMVs, ensuring a fair and transparent assessment for all participants.
